About a month ago, Investigation Discovery’s docuseriesQuiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TVdebuted, focusing on the allegedly toxic and abusive culture that child stars faced during their time at Nickelodeon.

Since its release, several former Nickelodeonstarshave commented on the claims made in the doc, along with sharing their own experiences working for the network alongside Dan Schneider.

And now,Victoria Justice, who starred inZoey 101andVictorious, becomes the latest former child star to comment on the doc and reflect on her own experience.

In a new interview withMarie Claire, Victoria said that while her experience working for Nickelodeon wasn’t perfect, it was mostly positive.

She has watchedQuiet on Setand said, “Something that was very evident in the documentary is that Dan had a very large ego, and sometimes that ego clouded his better judgment and affected the way he treated people, and there were times I felt like I was being treated unfairly.”

She also stressed that she had never experienced anything sexual on set, but added that there were moments that “were in poor taste.”

Victoria went on to ask the interviewer, Jazmine Hughes, if she’d seen the response video Schneider had released shortly after the doc came out. In the video, exclusively obtained bythe Hollywood Reporter, Schneider says, “Watching over the past two nights was very difficult — me facing my past behaviors, some of which are embarrassing and that I regret. I definitely owe some people a pretty strong apology."

“I would say I’m definitely one of the people on that list,” Victoria continued.

She added that she has rarely been in contact with Schneider since her time at Nickelodeon ended. “I’m not condoning any of his behavior,” she said. “At the end of the day, my relationship with Dan is a very complex one: I met him when I was 12 years old, and he’s the person that gave me this big break. He completely changed my life. Most likely I wouldn’t be here where I am today if it weren’t for him, and for him seeing something in me. For that I will always be grateful.”

“After watching his apology, I think he recognizes that he did a lot of things wrong, and I think if he could step back into a time machine, he would do a lot of things differently,” she finished.
