Our shoal recently run on a two - week slip to Greece . 15 high schoolers ( aged 15 - 17 ) travelled throughout Greece and the Greek islands .
The head trip was going great . A duet of kids were trying to sneak alcoholic drink ( expected ) but overall , uneventful .
On the last Clarence Day of the stumble , three boys steal $ 800 of good from H & fucking M of all places . They got catch and were arrested by Grecian police . This is 10 hour before our flight of steps home . Our fountainhead instructor had to go to the police post and excuse our situation to the Greek police force and that we could not leave these child behind . They did n’t budge . As teachers , we decided to bail the kids out with our own money .
Spring break ended and we made it back to school day . The kids are suspended for five days .
Here ’s the kicker : we teacher were called into a group meeting with the parent of these boys . We ’re expecting apologia , roses , and reimbursement .
Nope .
They ’re pissed . At us !
They were wee because their kids ' phones were confiscated . You know — by the police . As EVIDENCE ! They ask , ' Why was a instructor not in the storage with them ” and order “ this is your fault ! ”
F*ck that . I ’m done . I just was so tight to losing all professionalism and go off .
Are you kidding . You trust your nestling to send them on an external flight , but we should n’t trust them look at clothes ?
There was no apology , no reimbursement , and no answerableness .
We can say the tyke are the problem , but it ’s the parents .
