I ’ve got a sorry feeling about this .

Since the firstStar Warsmovie premiered in theaters in 1977, the galaxy far, far away has inspired passion in fans worldwide. Decades later and with six live-action TV series and nine animated ones, the release of a newStar Warsmovie is still a huge deal.

Lucky for us, there are more live-action films on the way in addition to the 11 that already exist — the nine films that make up the Skywalker Saga and two standalone movies (SoloandRogue One). But how do those 11 movies stack up against each other? Keep reading for one fan’s humble ranking, which I’m sure you’ll agree with completely and will praise unanimously.

Disclaimers :

– I love all the picture , but I can acknowledge their flaws . This list is base strictly on how I sense about them years subsequently .

–   My total puerility was mould byStar Wars . As a kid , I collected all the action figures , owned the special version VHS collection , and even crusade Darth Vader as a Padawan atDisneyWorld . These are my buff credentials .

Darth Vader extends a hand to Luke Skywalker in a climactic scene on a narrow bridge from "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back."

– Ihave gone a full calendar class without watch over a singleStar Warsmovie just for a chance to make this lean . Truly , I am bank the Force to guide me in making this list .

11.Solo: A Star Wars Story

The movie answers Han Solo questions that didn’t really need to be asked.

10.Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones

Episode IIhas it moments, but ultimately, is the weakest of the Skywalker Saga.

9.Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

There is so much to love aboutRogue One,especially its commitment to honoring what came before it, but it deserves criticism with what didn’t work, too.

8.Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith

As a prequel,Episode IIIhad the easiest path to finish the story, yet it still managed to stumble into the lava of Mustafar.

7.Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace

Focusing on the movie itself, I findEpisode Ito be the most enjoyable story of the prequel trilogy.

6.Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

Episode IXwas destined for failure thanks to the internet, and there is a lot to love about the flawed film, but it is VERY flawed.

5.Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Despite the divisiveness of this film among fans,Episode VIIIis actually a well-done and beautiful film, but the story needed more critical eyes.

4.Star Wars: Episode VI — Return of the Jedi

Episode VIfeatures some legendary moments and was a sound conclusion to the original trilogy.

3.Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Flowers will eventually be showered uponEpisode VIIfor being a film that revived an entire franchise with hope.

2.Star Wars: Episode IV — A New Hope

A case can easily be made forEpisode IVas not only the bestStar Warsfilm, but the greatest sci-fi flick ever made.

1.Star Wars: Episode V — The Empire Strikes Back

No amount of words in any amount of essays can describe how specialEpisode Vis to cinema.
